About Calligaris Chelsea
Two halves of the same idea: what you can smell in a room, and what you cannot.
Calligaris Chelsea is a showroom on West 18th Street. The range splits neatly in two. On one side, home fragrance — ultrasonic and waterless diffusers, pure essential oils and blends. On the other, air care — HEPA purifiers with washable pre-filters. Between them sits the storage that stops a small apartment from feeling smaller.
Coverage is stated in square feet because that is the only honest way to sell an air purifier. A unit rated for 1,650 square feet handles a large open-plan living area; it does not handle a whole floor, and we will say so rather than let the box imply otherwise. Diffusers are listed with tank capacity and run time for the same reason.
The organization side of the shop is chosen around one constraint: most of our customers cannot drill. Adhesive shower caddies, wall-mounted key racks, broom holders, roll-up dish racks and stackable kitchen gadgets — things that move clutter off a counter without a landlord conversation.
How we work
- What we stock: Diffusers and essential oils, HEPA air purifiers, kitchen prep and space-saving gadgets, bath and shower storage, entryway organization, and textiles.
- Coverage and capacity: Purifiers list the room size the maker rates them for; diffusers list tank capacity and run time.
- Filters: HEPA filters are typically replaced every 6-12 months and washable pre-filters rinsed monthly. Follow the interval for your model.
- Showroom: 144 W 18th St. Monday to Friday 10:00-19:00, Saturday 11:00-19:00, Sunday 12:00-18:00.
